The Star of Eärendil is the Silmaril that survived the First Age, raised by the Valar as a new star to guide those still left in Middle-earth. Its light was old beyond memory when Galadriel caught a fragment of it in a phial and gave it to Frodo. It was that same light Sam carried to the foot of Mount Doom, the last thing still bright when everything else had gone dark.
This pin is my own vision of that star. Not a reproduction of any single source, but an interpretation: what it might look like if you could hold it for a moment before it returned to the sky.
