Nenya, the Ring of Water, was one of the three Elven Rings forged by Celebrimbor in Eregion and kept hidden from Sauron throughout the Second and Third Ages. Galadriel bore it unseen, and through it she sustained Lothlórien, keeping its light and beauty intact while the rest of Middle-earth slowly darkened. When the One Ring was destroyed, and Nenya’s power faded with it, Lórien faded too. The ring had not been preserving a place. It had been preserving a world.
This pin is my own interpretation of Nenya, designed as a flower rather than a ring. Part of a set of three: Nenya, Narya, and Vilya, one for each of the Elven Rings of Power.
