The White Tree of Gondor was the realm’s sacred icon. It was said that the first White Tree had been planted by Isildur himself, and that it was a sapling of the great tree of Tol Eressëa. It stood in the Court of the Fountain inside Minas Tirith.
The White Tree was also the symbol on Gondor’s flag. This iconic tree was a tall, spacious one with a graceful form and thin, white bark over white wood.
It produced numerous white flowers in the spring, but few survived to become fruit. The leaves were dark green on top and silver beneath.
This stylish enamel pin is inspired by the White Tree of Gondor, which was on Aragorn’s chest during his final battle with the forces of Mordor. Wear it as a small token of your allegiance to the King of Men, or as a simple symbol of hope.
