They are proud and willful, but they are true-hearted, generous in thought and deed; bold but not cruel; wise but unlearned, writing no books but singing many songs, after the manner of the children of Men before the Dark Years
J.R.R. Tolkien, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
The Rohirrim were the horse-lords of Rohan – a kingdom in Middle-earth, perhaps best known for its cavalry and their legendary horses. The Rohirrim are descended from the Edain (Fathers of Men), and were referred to as Middle Men by Numenoreans. The Dunedain believed that they were related to the Rohirrim, and their relationship was akin to that of cousins. The Rohirrim were a proud people, who rejected the Dark Lord Sauron’s influence during the Second Age.

The quality of this product is excellent, and the photos do not do justice to how stunning this pin is in person! The engraving on the inside is of very good quality, clear and legible. I ordered it in a set with a Rohan Horse pin, they match each other perfectly.
