Bag End

In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort.

The Shire is a region of Middle Earth, the fictional setting for J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings books and movies. It is located in the northwest part of Middle Earth, west of the Misty Mountains. It is home to Hobbits, who are small humanoids with hairy feet and pointy ears. Hobbits are well-known for their love of comfort, especially when it comes to their homes. They tend to have large pantries full of food and drink, as well as spacious rooms decorated in the finest furniture. They are also known for their love of food and drink, as well as their extreme dislike of adventures.

Bag End was the home of Bilbo Baggins, Frodo’s uncle. It’s located in Hobbiton, just north of the Party Field and east of The Water-mill. Bilbo Baggins inherited Bag End from his father, Bungo. He then passed it on to Frodo when he went to live at Rivendell (Lord of The Rings).
